Paul McCartney reportedly sold his New York penthouse with glass front for $8.5 million (GBP6 millions). This is a far cry from the $15.5million (GBP11million) that the Beatles singer, 79, paid in 2015. McCartney and Shevell even held their wedding reception there in 2011. McCartney and Shevell held their wedding reception in the same place in 2011. It is also believed to be where the band wrote their hits, including Hey Jude and Penny Lane.
